Vinyl of the Week: Wallaby

This week's Vinyl of the Week is Wallaby, a popular collection specifically designed for the automotive segment.

The unique attributes that make Wallaby a great fit for automotive applications include that it is heat sealable, oil and sulfide resistant and compatible with commercially-based adhesives. Wallaby is fortified by the proprietary topcoat, FORBID SRT.

Wallaby has a Heavy Duty Wyzenbeek Abrasion Resistance, UV Stabilized Pigments of 300 hours, a Cold Crack of -10 degrees Fahrenheit and comes in 10 SKUs.



Wallaby is enhanced with the proprietary Enduratex topcoat, FORBID SRT. Even though vinyl is inherently more cleanable than other fabrics and has long been known for superior performance, some stains are hard to repel or get out. That's where FORBID SRT comes in!

Twenty years in the making, FORBID SRT topcoat dramatically increases stain resistance, while preserving the integrity of the fabric luster and softness. Traditionally difficult stains and spills like ink, paint, lipstick and blue dye are no match for FORBID SRT!

1.    What was your initial vision for Enduratex? Has Enduratex become what you envisioned it would, or has the vision changed with time? Jeff: My original vision for Enduratex was to build it as a ‘household name’ in the markets we served. We were known as CGPC back then and I made it a point to make sure that we got the brand Enduratex out there and that over time, we became known as Enduratex. People began to call us Enduratex and I recognized the need to promote that name.
