Vinyl of the Week: Crafted Grids

 This weeks Vinyl of the Week is the newest addition to our Enduraprint Program, CRAFTED GRIDS! CRAFTED GRIDS is a line with a unique geometric look, vibrant and stand out colors and the Enduratex™ topcoat, Produratect Plus. This line was recently revealed and introduced at BDNY, so if you had a chance to attend you probably already received a first hand look at this exciting new pattern.

“This is the freshest looking print that we’ve done thus far,” said Jeff Post, VP and General Manager of Enduratex.  “The print calendars and embossing were purchased specifically for this project and to encourage client participation in the design process.  The 16 stand-out colors, complete with clever names and personalities, are the creative genius of legendary colorist, Denise Turner, of Color Turners,” he added.

There are 16 SKU's in the CRAFTED GRIDS collection and a 200-yard minimum, per SKU, applies to all custom orders.

 CRAFTED GRIDS is the fifth Enduraprint program in two years. It has a polyester and rayon backing and its design is geared toward contract, hospitality, gaming, and general use. However, the uniqueness of the pattern can be utilized in many other applications.

Our VP/General Manager, Jeff Post, sat down with us for an interview about his position at Enduratex and experience in the coated fabrics industry. The first part in this four-part series is dedicated to his industry knowledge and coated fabrics interest. 1.    What was your initial vision for Enduratex? Has Enduratex become what you envisioned it would, or has the vision changed with time? Jeff: My original vision for Enduratex was to build it as a ‘household name’ in the markets we served. We were known as CGPC back then and I made it a point to make sure that we got the brand Enduratex out there and that over time, we became known as Enduratex. People began to call us Enduratex and I recognized the need to promote that name. I think we have accomplished a tremendous job in re-branding ourselves and making the brand name of ENDURATEX one that is known and respected. 2.    What qualities define a ‘dream team’? What constitutes a strong team and how have you tried to develop your team into a ‘dream team’?
