Wednesday Wisdom: FORBID SRT

Award-winning Forbid SRT changed the vinyl game back in 2013. This superior stain resistant topcoat was an answer to the problem of vinyl upholstery staining and ghosting. When Forbid SRT was released, we put the topcoat on some of our most popular lines: Independence, Predictions, and Prizm. Its performance was enough to turn heads and it began to generate a snowball effect of popularity.

Forbid SRT has the right chemistry to resist stains, some so daring they were once thought to be permanent. However, with either just a wash of soap and water or a wipe of 70 percent isopropyl alcohol Forbid SRT has repeatedly proven itself and customers regularly ask for it by name. In fact, since its introduction, Forbid SRT has been added to 28 different product lines. Although Forbid SRT is not found on every line, we do provide other topcoat products such as Produratect™ and Produratect C. One size doesn't fit all and topcoats are not created equal. Each Enduratex topcoat is selected based on a product's specific requirements and typical applications.

Even though vinyl is inherently more cleanable than other fabrics and has long been known for superior performance, some stains are hard to repel or get out. That's where Forbid SRT comes in! Twenty years of research and finally vinyl customers have the opportunity to use a product which is proven to increase stain resistance, while preserving the integrity of the fabric luster and softness.
But what makes Forbid SRT so unique? Forbid SRT is not just a surface treatment, it is uniquely cross-linked into the structure of the vinyl allowing the vinyl to be cleaned over and over again. This means Forbid SRT takes Enduratex™  vinyl to the next level of excellence providing maximum stain resistance and protection!
