2016 Upholstery and Trim International Convention

Just got back from the 52nd Annual Upholstery and Trim International Convention at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak in Phoenix, AZ. What an amazing convention it was!
First of all, the resort was incredibly beautiful! It had seven pools, a lazy river with a water slide, a putting course, fitness center, three on-site restaurants, three tennis courts, a basketball court, its own retail store and its own ice cream shop... its so sad that we were not able to really enjoy any of it!
The meeting room is where we spent the majority of our time. With 35 one-on-one company meetings in just three short days, we kept ourselves pretty busy. I know, this sounds pretty strenuous and exhausting... and they were at times. However, these meeting were definitely not a waste of time. We got to catch up with many good companies, meet with new ones, share ideas and helpful information, gloat... I mean share our new and upcoming products, and gather feedback on how we can do even better as a company. Believe me, no one that we met with disappointed. Every time we have these shows we learn more and more about how we can better please our customers and how we can better grow as a company moving forward. We will continue to do just that.
After the convention concluded, we even got the chance to have a little more fun before we left in participating in the tennis tournament that was sponsored by The Quality Thread & Notions Co. It was more of a friendly match than a competitive tournament, which was good for me since I havent played tennis since high school!
Last but not least, we were generously awarded with the Best new Product intro for last years release of Phantom. Thank you, Auto care Association!
