Vinyl of the Week: British Sterling

This weeks Vinyl of the Week is from our British Ale Collection, BRITISH STERLING. Inspired by the look of traditional wool flannels, British Sterling sports a flannel fabric appearance—but no stiff upper lip. Designers will be impressed by the extraordinary hand of BRITISH STERLING and its and elegant drape-ability.

“BRITISH STERLING is a classic fabric look with a protective surface needed for high use in public areas,” said Jeff Post, VP and General Manager of CGPC America.  “It’s cleanable, durable and anti-microbial making it suitable for hospitality and healthcare applications,” he added.

BRITISH STERLING is offered in sixteen strong colors that were developed to “suit” the fashion call of hospitality, the classic nature of healthcare and the sophisticated palette of contract design.

BRITISH STERLING is made of PVC and features a Polyester Microfiber Backing. The line is anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, has an abrasion resistance of 100,000 cycles on the Wyzenbeek, has a nominal weight of 30 oz per linear yard, is 1.1 mm thick and come in 16 stunning SKUs.

BRITISH STERLING also features our proprietary Forbid topcoat. Forbid delivers a topcoat for enduring beauty and performance for vinyl products. Even though vinyl is inherently more cleanable than other fabrics and has long been known for superior performance, some stains are hard to repel or get out. That’s where Forbid comes in!

Twenty years in the making, Forbid topcoat dramatically increases stain resistance, while preserving the integrity of the fabric luster and softness. Traditionally difficult stains and spills like ink, paint, lipstick and blue dye are no match for Forbid!
