Vinyl of the Week: Abocado

This weeks Vinyl of the Week is ABOCADO. Earth-friendly, with no plasticizers, Abocado has a leather-like appearance and a soft, supple hand that is easy to fabricate. Abocado, which is Enduratex’ first PU collection, offers a stunning color palette and aesthetic perfect for hospitality designers and a cleaning protocol that hotel owners/operators will embrace.

This cleanable polyurethane (PU) may be disinfected with a diluted bleach solution, making it a breeze for housekeeping teams to keep it looking new.  Another key benefit to Abocado is the tricot-knit polyester backing, which eliminates  ‘puddling’ worries that have previously presented challenges to the industry. We are pleased to be able to offer our customers a polyurethane collection that meets our performance standards.

Abocado showed superb resistance to hydrolysis in the seven-week “Jungle Test,” once again proving that the right textile can be beautiful, soft and tough at the same time.

ABOCADO is made of Polyurethane and features a Polyester backing. The line is anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, has an abrasion resistance of 100,000 cycles #10 cotton duck on the Wyzenbeek, has a nominal weight of 21 oz per linear yard, is .9 mm thick and come in 21 stunning SKUs.
